Salon Director - Alistair Dewsbury
A love for fashion and style inspired a 14-year-old Alistair to get involved in hairdressing, setting off on the road to being a hair stylist by doing an apprenticeship at Remy hair salon. Alistair then moved to train at Aveda where he learnt the technical skills of hairdressing.
From there Alistair spent 8 years working at well known George’s hair salon on the Allendale Road where Alistair was able to develop his own unique hairdressing style, completed a number of professional courses with L’OREAL and Charles Worthington and was involved in photo shoots for national fashion magazines, taking part in the L'OREAL ID artist awards. Alistair’s ambition and skill enabled him to spread his wings and launch the Escape salon, embedding his signature style with the creation of his 2010 collection.
Paris
Paris is all about hair, even when she’s not working
she’s thinking about hair. This obsession started in her early teens when
she started working on Saturdays in hair salons in Leicester. From there Paris
moved on to train professionally at college whilst hairdressing part-time. Over
the nine years since qualifying Paris has practised her skills at some of the
top salons in Leicester developing styles of her own, finishing up at
George’s in Leicester as a designer before joining Escape
as a senior member of the team. Having styled on catwalk shows, weddings and
for friends Paris can cater for all occasions, whether it is glitz and glamour
or everyday style.
